While I was watching the movie I wondered, if Bess would have never had a relationship and child with Sir Walter Raleigh, would Queen Elizabeth have tried to have a more serious realtionship with him? (because rumor has it she had in fact a long affair with S.W.R.) And if so, what do you think could have happened if she married him, given the fact that he was a pirate?
I think they never would have a serious relationship because of the fact that he was a pirate, she had so clear that she was living for her country that I don't think they would get married. In my point of view, Sir Walter helped her a lot because after meet him she could find the sense of her existence.
