Elizabethan: The Golden Age
When we analyzing the plot of the movie, we see that the director shows
us a little about the history of the empire but through the personal
lives of Elizabeth. What is the director's intention to do this?

I think that the director wants to show us the life of the queen from a more human point of view, he wants to show us that she had fears and she sacrificed her own happiness for her people.
