In my opinion the most relevant feature was that she was a very determined woman, even though she had her moments of doubts and weaknesses, like every human being. The main reason why she was a determined woman is that she had no other choice, she had to stand strong for her people, in every single one desition made, for four decades.
I think that most relevant feature is the commitment and loyalty that elizabeth had to his people.She fight for them with courage and fortitude, without caring the rest thought it was weak only because she was a women. So for that, i believe that her power was unquestioned.
i think, in that time she was an "ICON" ,so she was to look like a strong and untaochtable woman.
