Linkin Park - What I've Done
Album: "Minutes To Midnight" (2007)
1.- Who created this message?
The song was wrote by Mike Shinoda with Brad Delson and the video it was made by Joe Hahn, they are all members of the band Linkin Park
2.-What creative techniques are used to attract my attention?
The techniques they used to attract my attention are the lyrics and the video.
3.-How might different people understand this message differently?
I think people can understand different things about the world, politics, religion, most for the images on the video, but for me this song talk about things we've done that we regret and how we want to forget it all and move on. The theme of the song is admitting to your faults of the past and kind of accepting it and moving on and trying to become something better.
4.-What values, lifestyles and points of view are represented in, or omitted from, this message?
This song is an inter-reflexion about things we do and we don't do, and we regret most. And the consequences we made with our decisions, and that affect other people.
5.-Why is this message being sent?
I think it is because people need admit their faults and start over, so this is a good way to tell them is ok.
